Knots and tangles can be painful and lead to skin issues. We gently work through matting where possible and tidy the coat to help it sit smoothly. Regular detangling makes brushing at home quicker and more pleasant for both you and your dog.
We carefully trim around hygiene areas, paws, and under the tail to keep things cleaner and more comfortable. This helps reduce irritation, odour, and mess, especially for longer‑coated breeds.
We adjust the length of the coat depending on the season and your dog’s needs:
Summer grooms: lighter, shorter clips to help your dog stay cooler and more comfortable in warmer weather.
Winter grooms: slightly longer, insulated trims that help keep your pup warm while still keeping the coat neat and manageable.
Healthy nails are essential for good posture and pain‑free movement. We trim or grind nails to a safe length and can lightly tidy the fur around the paws to prevent slipping and matting between the pads.
If requested, we can include flea and tick rinses or treatments as part of your groom. Using suitable, dog-safe products, we help manage pests and support your dog’s overall comfort and skin health.
